Born Kevin Fluellen; J-Flue was raised in the inner city of Columbus, OH. Introduced to gospel rap at a very young age, J-Flue and his 6 cousins were pulled together, forming a group called the “GOSPEL COUSINS”. Music has been running through his veins every since. After years of running from the calling that God has placed on his life, J.Flue accepted the call to use rap music to minister to those in the faith as well as to the “lost sheep.”
Founded on the scripture Colossians 3:23 “And whatsoever ye shall do, do it heartily as unto God and not unto man”. In 2008 J.Flue signed with Slingshot mediagroup an IndyLabel based out of Columbus, Ohio. In his short time with Sling Shot Media Group, J. Flue has recieved national acclaim.
With his collaboration on Street Pastor’s single “Got to Run” J.Flue has appreared on BET and nationally broadcast 7 Minutes Show. More recently J.Flue was named 1st runner up in the National Inspiration Youth Convention “Gospel Fest”. J.Flue with the help of God is bringing you “flavor in a wrapper like starburst” with a NO COMPROMISE mentality.
