Making a Difference through Hip-Hop: Kadence’s Going In coming 5/28/10

As the front-man and lead producer of the rap group, The Exodus Movement, since 2000, Kadence has performed on major stages in nearly every state in the US. Kadence is also a well-known producer for Air Tight Productions (ATP) and has produced for the likes of Lecrae, K-Drama, Cam, D-MAUB & more. Lecrae’s “Go Hard,” produced by Kadence, has become the anthem of the NBA’s Orlando Magic, requested by Dwight Howard before every game. Kadence was selected to be the keynote speaker at Youth For Christ’s annual summer camp. Kadence hails from Oklahoma City. He moonlights as a Youth Pastor, loves to make jokes, and eats, sleep, and breathes music.

His much-anticipated debut solo project, Going In, will be released on Memorial Day weekend (5/28/10). The album features a wide variety of styles within the hip-hop genre from the catchy single, “Crazy,” to the more tongue-in-cheek humor of “Shot in the Club,” to the more raw and vulnerable “They Need To Know.” In addition to having produced several of the tracks himself under Air Tight Productions (or ATP), Going In boasts an impressive cast of producers including: Scootabeats, Halo, Tony Tone Beatz, and more. Adding another layer to the project are guest appearances by Cam, D-MAUB, other members of the Exodus Movement, and more.

Going In will be available on Friday, May 28th, on iTunes, Amazon, Zune, LimeWire, MySpace Music, IMVU, Napster, Lala, Shockhound, Amie Street, Rhapsody, and eMusic.
