Hollywood Holly, A Christian Hip Hop Artist Making a Difference in His Community

Hollywood Holly as Key Note Speaker for City of Virginia Beach Summer Youth Employment Program

Aug. 11, 2010 VA BCH, VA Hollywood Holly aka Joshua Mitchell, an upcoming youth pastor of Kingdom World Outreach Center, has been invited to speak to the youths at The Virginia Beach Summer Youth Employment Program on Aug. 18th, 2010 at The Sandler Center. Mr. Carlos Moulds invited him last year to talk to the youths about his experience dealing with peer pressure and low self esteem. Last year, more than 30 youths were enrolled and given the opportunity to work for the City of Va Bch. The City of Va Bch hopes to encourage and inspire young adults to pursue their dreams by giving them an opportunity to work for the summer and earn extra income.
On Aug. 18th at 10 am, Hollywood Holly will have another opportunity to share his testimony. He will be sharing the stuggles that he has faced and continues to encounter in the work force due to his criminal records. He will be encouraging the upcoming future leaders to maintain a clean criminal background which will help them to obtain a higher paying occupation. In addition, Hollywood Holly will also teach them how to start their own business in an event they find themselves being denied an opportunity to work because of a felonly since he has had to do the same.

“I’m excited and honored to have this opportunity to share what God has done in my life!” said Hollywood Holly, a national recording Christian Hip Hop artist, who will also be sharing his artistist talent on stage.
