Bobby Bishop, Freestyle Missions and Jamaica
Hey Holy Culture Family,
I wanted to let you know that I will be traveling to Jamaica from June 29-July 6 for a week-long long mission with Freestyle Missions out of Atlanta. The primary focus will be concert outreaches in four Jamaican communities. B.A.N.G. (Building A New Generation) was founded in the summer of 2009, and has become a widely accepted and anticipated event since that time. As you may recall, I had the privilege of going on the initial trip in 2009. Several other rap artists (R.Swift, Corey Hicks, and more), a missions team, and I will take a four day tour to the parishes/cities of Spalding, Melrose, Contrivance, and Kingston. Along with the concerts, the missions team will be offering workshops and a basketball clinic.
Additionally, we plan to serve Spalding’s Gospel Assembly Church by assisting with light construction work on their new facility.
I’d really appreciate your support in sharing Christ in Jamaica through music and practical service. We’re all raising our funds and taking ownership of the tour.
Additionally, I’d REALLY like my wife,Jessica, to be able to go with me. I’m confident it will be an invaluable experience to be able to go together. Freestyle is a non-profit, so this is a tax deduction.

The Impact
I’m excited about the opportunity to return to Jamaica with Freestyle and the Carmody family. The fundraising is crucial, as we are all taking full ownership of this trip. I’d greatly appreciate your support.
What We Need & What You Get
I need to raise $2800.00 by June 1 in order for Jessica and I to return to Jamaica. My deposit of $1400.00 is due on April 18. These finances will go towards our individual costs for flights, food, and lodging for me and my wife. Additionally, this funding will go towards trip costs regarding the outreach events. We will be renting a trailer that opens up as a stage with a sound system, and putting on nightly outreach concerts. Additionally, we will be putting on community outreach workshops for children, teens, and adults, as well as a basketball clinic.
