J Prophet – JAHANO (Japan Relief Effort)

JProphet=JAHANOartJ PROPHET announces the release of “JAHANO,” a tribute song for all those affected by the recent earthquakes and tsunamis in Japan. With hopes to raise money for Red Cross relief efforts, the single also aims to raise continued awareness of the necessity to aid those affected by earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, and landslides around the world. “In our culture we have incredibly short attention spans. About 2 months after a devastating hurricane or earthquake hits a foreign nation, we forget about the lives that were lost and forever altered. With this song, I’m trying to do my part in remembering the pain of others as well as tangibly responding to crisis,” said J PROPHET. You can log onto his website, www.JPROPHET.com, to buy the song for $1.

“JAHANO” features singer Tina Colón, and the title combines the names of a few places that have been marked by catastrophe over the last few years (Japan, Haiti, and New Orleans). While Japan is the focus of this particular effort, other forgotten places and people still need prayer, healing, and peace.

J PROPHET was recently featured on Bobby Jones Presents, which airs on The WORD Network. His next project, V2, is slated for a Fall 2011 release.
