ChristMusiq has once again teamed up with a host of artists from the east and west coasts to bring you the latest and greatest collaboration, ChristMade: The Mixed Tape. Names you know, like Humble Tip, Tru Soldier, God’s Elect, C. Micah, Divenoumous, Jaelife and more compiled music to help make an impact and provide the alternative to the secular Hip Hop market. Their goal is to witness the truth of God to every creature, go into the hood, and reach every ghetto across the globe to prove God still lives, still rules supreme and has an army in the music industry dedicated to pushing His agenda of salvation and the education of truth.
The collaboration is a spin off of the SelfMade project by Rick Ross and Maybach Music Group (MMG). It counters the false perception that a man’s material gain and possession is what actually makes him a man, grants him power and provides him with lasting security.
SelfMade lends its definition to being a self-made millionaire or more metaphorically, to being self-sufficient; which contradicts the truth that we are to abide in God and separated from Him, we are nothing (John 15) – having only the appearance of Godliness, but really having no Godly form. God is spirit, supernatural, and so desires to make the spirit of a man rich before adding to his pockets.
The ChristMade collaboration uses the same approach, yet presents a different perspective on what defines a made man. More specifically, it reveals the true purpose of a man’s creation, which is to be a reflection of the Creator, who is the only true boss, provider and decider of a man’s increase. Thus, the title ChristMade was birthed from Romans 8:29, “For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son.”
The message in this project is simple, God desires every man who comes by Him to have the best in this world. However, money was not at all intended as something a man should serve in defining his manhood, because by this definition, a man sells out his own soul. God’s true desire is to affirm your manhood by His standard, seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness because here is where you will find your true self. Then He will add to you, the splendor you desire (Matthew 6:19-33).
