New Covenant Church of Philadelphia & Holywood Media are pleased to announce the 1st Annual “Jesus flix” Urban Christian Film Festival hosted by Christopher “Play” Martin formerly of the Kid ‘n’ Play House Party Movies. This 3 day festival is fromAugust 5th to August 7th @ the New Covenant Campus 7500 Germantown Avenue in Philadelphia. There are numerous indoor showings (in 2,000 Seat air conditioned Facility)  and 1 outdoor movie showing on movie size screens (Bring Picnic Chairs and blankets) Watch 10 plus well produced feature and independent films and shorts. Saturday features early day Film Workshops being facilitated by Christopher “Play” Martin, Award Winning Screen Writer Mike Jackson (writer of “Saving God” with Ving Rhames) and others. This Family friendly Festival is free and features a Sat. Children’s matinee & and Saturday outdoor “The Hybrid” Christian Music Festival. Some of the films we are showing include Soul Surfer, To Save a Life, Like Dandelion Dust and over 10 other films. All film showing are free as is the conference portion. You do not have to register to be admitted but would appreciate registration especially for the conference portion.
