Yaves to release “In Summers Ear” short project on 8.31.11

After a brief drought it seems that the frontrunner of the Sling Shot Movement has emerged with a new sense of motivation. With a consistent video campaign as well as a tour in session Yaves has been full steam ahead and seems to be leaping any obstacle that attempts to present itself.

With a new facelift to the movement, and a few additions to his core management team you can expect that this is just the beginning of what is sure to be a new era for music. “In Summer’s Ear” is apart of a series of projects that Yaves plans to release as a precursor to his first solo studio album “Favor Over Fury”. Producing the title track himself, Yaves causes the listener to weave in and out of consciousness with wordplay that hits harder than the average punchline. Teaming up with the 2 time winner of the Berklee College of Music and Essence Magazine Contest; Jacob Bragg to Engineer the project, In Summers Ear is a perfect climax to a hot season.

Be on the look out for Yaves and his label mate Ron Riley’s collaborative album coming later this fall.
