Born Zonterion Hart but goes by the moniker Zigg Madison. This rapper is fairly new to CHH. He’s from Newport News, VA but resides in Tulsa, OK (home to Christian & MC Dre Murray). I cracked open his official LP, S.W.A.T. (S.aint W.ith A. T.estimony). Soul Fire is the first track on the listing. The background of the track is bangin’ but the lyrics and hook don’t present anything new to the game. The dude has a nice flow though. Satan Killer Ft. rapper K.A.S is good but you get bored half way through it. It must be the smoky, ghostly beat. My Heart My Soul is a beautiful song. This song is simply a prayer for his wrong and crying out for his situation. You really get to know him on this record.

Songs like Start Fresh with its hard guitar, I Rock Jesus Ft. Stephen I, and the cell phone-themed Direct Connect have Saturday night mix show potential but the recording of vocals and mixing might steer listeners away. I Rock Jesus is crunk and probably one of the best songs on here. Some of the songs have the early Cross Movement boom bap sound (i.e. Never Felt and Once Too Many). The title track is another good track but it could have been better. It has that “epic record potential.” His second verse on here is where the song really heats up (flow wise). The last official song on here, Get You, had me nodding my head. However, the poor recording and mix struck again and hurt the potential in this song. The album isn’t a bad album but the mixing and sound of the recordings are very poor. It really hurts this album. Zigg Madison (in my best DJ voice lol), keep getting it in.
