Nashville, TN-January 12th 2012 I.C.E. Workshop (Independent Christian Entertainment Workshop): “What You Need To Know About The Music Business” will host it’s first annual event during Stellar Awards Week. The I.C.E. Workshop is for independent artists and labels who need to know how to function in today’s ever-changing music business. For artists and labels looking for distribution it will be a learning experience on what is expected of them and how to be prepared for the expenses of making the switch from being a regional artist to a full-time national artist. Confirmed speakers include national recording artist of Clear Sight Music, Flame, co-Founder/Sales Manager of Infinity Music Distribution, Rick Greene, co-Founder of Infinity Music Distribution and Life-Line Worldwide, Jason Hollis, Owners of Lataillade Entertainment and Ruff Town Entertainment Vicki Mack & Claude Lataillade, Multi-Platinum Producer, Herb Middleton (Nas, Will Smith, Mary J. Blige), & more TBA. There will be panel discussions to share information that is pertinent to today’s artists and labels led by industry professionals. For newer artists and labels this will be a great opportunity to network with other artists, labels, and industry professionals to build relationships for future endeavors.
