1 Peter 2:11-12: “Dear friends, i urge you, as aliens & strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul. Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify god on the day he visits us”. Living in a sinful world, where the culture has to do with everything but Christ, is challenging for Christians. Every day is another fight, another day of war to make the glory of Christ be known. As we fight, we do not fit in, because we are not of this world. We are aliens! On august 16, 2011 da messenger wants to encourage as well as challenge Christians all across the world to walk firmly in their identity as an “alien” with his new album. With Christ centered music, his hope is that we push ourselves to stand out & live for the cause of Jesus Christ.
