C-Hoop Announces New Album ‘Truth Hurts, Denial Kills’
The young Christian rapper from Texas, C Hoop, has a genuine heart for God and reaching the lost by preaching the message of Christ. The new album is sure to reach some where they are at, and also set a fire under those that have gotten complacent in their walk with Christ. After releasing a few mixtapes in the past, C Hoop’s name started to buzz around the Christian Rap market. Until now very little had been known about the young emcee. “Truth Hurts, Denial Kills” is an album that has some certified bangers on it such as “Phone Home”, which is a straight forward song stating that C Hoop is an alien just residing here until Jesus comes back for His own. “Phone Home” is the first single from the album which was released January 17th, 2012, and was placed in rotation immediately. C Hoop displays much versatility on this album as well by lying down some vocals to show that he’s a rapper that isn’t afraid to try his hand at singing. “Fall Back” is one of those songs. It’s a deep, heartfelt song that is talking to women that have been in relationships that were unhealthy, and he’s basically telling them, if the man isn’t a man of God and pursuing Godly things, then let him go. Fall back from him and allow God to fill that void. “Fall Back” is an encouraging song to women, but as we know, God operates in a way that anyone can receive His message in any format, regardless of who it was intended for initially.
