We’ve yet to hear another hot track from Christ Musiq visionary & founder, God’s Elect, since releasing his debut LP, ‘To Be Continued’.  This time around, Elect is speaking from the angle of ‘leader & forerunner’, on his new hit single, “Add & Subtract.”

The focus for this single is to examine how lots of people desire so much to be done in their lives, but are unwilling to put in the work to accomplish various tasks.

God’s Elect wears many hats as both founder of a ministry and movement – Christ Musiq – and as a business owner. In so doing, he’s had his share in working with individuals want to accomplish great things, but who are not willing to put in the hard work it takes to accomplish great things.

His writing draws inspiration from 1^st Thessalonians chapter 3 verse ten, which states, “If a man doesn’t work he shouldn’t eat,” and asks, ‘Why do we expect so much, yet put up very little work?’ Elect goes on to explain, that if you’re standing in the way of God’s plan for your life, you will likely be replaced, or perhaps even removed, in order for the job to get done correctly (Acts 1:23-26).

The production for, “Add & Subtract,” by Twan Beats, has a ‘down south’, grimy, heaving hitting, club-type feel, that’ll have listeners dancing from beginning to end!

When asked if he would be putting out another album any time soon, Elect states, “Not at this time. I spending time building up my team of anointed artist God has entrusted to me; to help build and equip for ministry. There will be more to come from God’s elect and the entire Christ Musiq team.”
