The irony of Christmas is that while we celebrate the birth of a savior, we are rejoicing over a substitute to pay for sins! Its amazing to think that from the manger rings not just the trumpet of joy, but the solemn reality of what was necessary to secure salvation of the world, namely, the death of Christ.
