Islam demands nothing from you. You can still curse, drink, sex, smoke, steal whatever but as long as you do good things to balance it out you might be ok. They don't even know if they make it heaven in the end, its all about how Allah feels that day. We have to keep making music that shows people who God is. I honestly feel that if we get to the point where to we are accepted by the mainstream then we would be doing a disservice. Christ was clear, they will hate us because they hate him. If we are trying to get it accepted by the world then we are missing the point. We want the world to be convicted and changed. Matt 7 many people will miss it. It just is what is that way. As far as having a louder voice, I don't think that is an isuue. I believe that what is lacking is the power and heart of Christ. We need to His heart and be a reflection to those that are in darkness. Not to be pessimistic, I believe that Christ centered rhymes can convict or at least arrest the attention of the conscience for a moment.
