The BEST 10 Years of my Life!

ieshaandboysToday I’m sitting here reflecting on the past 10 years of my life. Feb 26th 1999 I married the most wonderful woman a man could ever know. We said our vows in a tiny court house in San Diego, with only a few in attendance. The crowd might have been few, but the significance of what happened on that day was monumental. 10 years of spending every single day, every single night, every single hurting moment, every single laugh, every single tear with a person does something to you. Aaaaah… Lord… Father… I THANK you for allowing me to be with your daughter Iesha! Thank you for allowing me to sit with her, laugh and cry with her, watch the boys grow with her, encourage her, praise her, and occasionally rebuke her. Thank you for giving me someone who is my closest friend. Someone who will sit and listen to whats on my heart (the good and the ugly). Thank you for her patience! Thank you for her consistency with our boys. Thank you for giving me a woman who loves YOU more than she loves me! Praise God she is sooo wonderful. Lord you turned what could have been an ugly situation into something sooo beautiful words cannot describe. We went from being two sinful wild and crazy single individuals to ONE… ONE entity created to show off the Glory and Awe of the Creator of the Universe (Ephesians 5:31). A reflection of the blueprint you had designed in eternity past for marriage. Lord thank you for being the glue that has kept my wife and I bonded so tightly!

Iesha… Thank You for loving me these past 10 years, and being a Proverbs 31 (10-31) woman.
