Urban D. asks the CHH Community for Prayer!

Many people in our community know about Crossover Church in Tampa, Florida. It’s been the home of the Flavor Fest Conference for the past 10 years. Over 40 major concert events have taken place there over the past decade and countless artists have performed there as there are tons of videos on youtube (just search Crossover Church or Flavor Fest). This small urban church relaunched their vision in 2002 as Urban D. became the lead pastor of about 40 people. Just 8 years later the church has over 750 members with the majority of them being from unchurched backgrounds.

In January of 2010 the church miraculously sold it’s former campus and became a portable church meeting at a hotel. This sparked even more people being reached as they now had more space. Construction began on their new 43,000 square foot building (A former Toys R’ Us) building this summer. They are now in the final phases of the construction as completion is just weeks away. Check out the video as Pastor Tommy appeals to the CHH community to put us on their prayer list as the project is almost done… and to also pray for a miracle as there is still a final portion of money to raise to get it finished.
