At a young age, due to a lack of a father figure and no real order, the streets became a second home. Big Perk Music along with countless others found male guidance in the form of lies. Gangs, drugs, money, parties, and a life of crime soon followed. At 18 years old BPM was shot in a drive-by shooting by a rival gang one Sunday evening. BPM did not know at the time but God was trying to show him and speak to him through music. Not knowing what to look for or listen to BPM went on with his life still not 100% sold out for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

His music career soon took off and achieved many goals. Sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in music like; Ludacris, Rick Ross, Cash Money Records, DMX, Bobby V, Lloyd, Warren G, Outlawz, Slim Thug, Tum Tum, Big Tuck, Lil Flip, Dem Franchise Boys, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Baby Bash, Frankie J, Lil Rob, Pitbull, Wing Wang Twins, Petty Pablo, Gorilla Zo, 112, Naughty by Nature and many more… BPM was never truly happy, he stepped away from music GOT SAVED AND STARTED LIVING FOR GOD. Not knowing that God still had something with music planned for BMP here we are today.
