Slingshot Ends Deal with Vevaci Entertainment

COLUMBUS, OH – The independent record label SSMG LLC negotiated an end to their agreement with Vevaci Entertainment which would go into effect March 31, 2011. The label inked a partnership with Vevaci Entertainment with the agreement also including distribution worldwide through Universal Music Group Distribution.

Yaves M Ellis CEO of SSMG LLC explains “It was in the best interest of our company, the ministry, and our families to terminate our partnership with Vevaci Entertainment; we wish them success in the future and are excited about the new opportunities that have been presented, please keep our label in your prayers.”

SSMG LLC offices are still poised to release the debut project from SlingShot Movement entitled UNDEFEATED later this summer. The deal which was more of a partnership does not involve the contracts of any of the SSMG LLC artist, the roster is still strong and the entire team is focused and on board to move in this new direction. SlingShot Movement’s street single “Loud Sounds” is making a lot of noise amongst the music world and is helping to build anticipation for the studio project UNDEFEATED.

As of right now SSMG LLC will not go into further details about the situation, but as their legal team sorts everything out, they will go into further detail about the particulars of the deal at a later date.
