The Alumni “Perfect Man” Crosses Over + Album Art

Panel_OutsideAlbuquerque, NM (August 2, 2011) – The title track off The Alumni’s fourth album, “Perfect Man,” is crossing over to Christian Rock radio. The lead single has already found its way into Billboard’s Christian Rock Top 40 for radio play. With elements of hard-hitting hip hop and hints of live instruments, The Alumni continue to push the boundaries of Holy Hip Hop.

The song Perfect Man is an apology written to the wives of the hip hop duo. Sevr1 said, “We didn’t do anything major, but it’s just about realizing that we could be doing better for our wives, daughters of the King of Kings”. The album follows suit in recognizing that there is only one Perfect Man, Jesus. Throughout the album, Sevr1 and Madik address the topics of faith, failure, love, and the faithfulness of God while musically and lyrically creating at the highest levels.

The album Perfect Man will release on September 4, 2011 at Static Radio’s Freedom Fest in Albuquerque, NM and will be distributed by upstart record label, ProLegend Records. Perfect Man was produced by the incredibly versatile and award winning producer, David “Madik” Lucero. Perfect Man also features guest artists like classical singer Dominique Schwartz, Laladee, and the Copper Pointe Church Youth Choir.
