Also, CJ Emulous is getting ready for the nationwide release of “Suicide Mission” to retail stores which will be distributed by Central South/Infinity Music Distribution. The album has had some great radio airplay with singles like, “Kamikaze” “I Hope You Die” and “Rainy Day” There are 16 tracks on the project that are packed with commercial, hook laiden, hip hop that has a message of hope, a story of redemption, and testimony of a life that has been changed forever. The album is based on the scripture in Romans 8:13 “For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if you put to death the misdeeds of the flesh you will live.” CJ Emulous was raised on the streets of Vallejo, CA and became a drug dealer; at the age of 21 he was incarcerated for shipping drugs to Hawaii. He was found guilty of possession of drugs and a firearm and faced 10-12 years in Federal prison with a mandatory 5 years. While in prison he began to study the Bible and became aware of who God was and according to His Word and the grace that He offers. CJ Emulous now dedicates his life to serving God and the community with his gift of freedom. CJ Emulous has been a full-time hip hop artist, speaker, mentor, and youth minister for years now to the community where he lives and throughout the world inspiring youth through his testimony and energetic concerts.
