The Alumni, Representing Christ In A Dark Market

Albuquerque, NM (October 25, 2011) – In early September, The Alumni debuted their fourth full-length album, entitled Perfect Man. After having songs Perfect Man and Love reach top 40 status on the Christian Rock Billboard charts for radio play, the album earned the group a nomination for “Duo/Group Artist of the Year” by the New Mexico Hip Hop Awards.

“It’s an honor to just be nominated and considered for the hip hop awards,” said Sevr1. “Being the only Christian artist nominated though makes it even more special. It shows that while we are reaching out to people for Christ, we are doing it in a way that has earned the respect of those around us. Now we just need the support of the Christian music industry and fans to keep lifting His name higher.”
