INTRODUCING KMY

KMY, born Kelly Marie Yarn, is a living testimony of the power of the word of God. Raised in Maryland, KMY grew up heavily immersed in the club and party scenes of Baltimore. KMY once found her identity in the Hip Hop and R&B music videos of the late 90s, but after many years of partying, drinking, and engaging in other reckless activities, she realized that life was not as fulfilling as the music videos had once portrayed. She began to search for something worth living for, but failed to find a buzz that wouldn’t fade. In 2008, KMY hit rock bottom, and was considering suicide until a friend invited her to a concert that changed her life forever. On that memorable night, the gospel of Jesus Christ was presented and KMY fell before her Lord and Savior and asked Him into her heart. Since that night, KMY has dedicated her life to sharing the awesome hope of God’s redeeming love, unmatchable grace, and undeniable truth. Her upcoming album, “Witness,” which set to be released in early April 2012, will follow her story from her days of darkness, up to her night of deliverance, and into her new life living as redeemed child of God. Keep an eye on this young woman as she has a voice that is destined to speak to this generation.
