Kounter Culture Podcast with Azriel airing March 5th

(Kansas City, MO) – Pastor and Gospel Rapper D.A. Horton (Azriel) has announced that he will once again begin podcasting in partnership with Holy Culture Radio. The name of his new podcast is, Kounter Culture. Horton explains that his new podcast is one expression of ministry based in his local church, “Kounter Culture is the multi-media evangelistic ministry of Koinonia Bible Church (www.kbckc.org), where I serve as the Lead Teaching Elder. Because we at KBC are so passionate about healthy churches and church membership, I stopped the Didactics with D.A. Horton podcast last year to wait until our church, which merged on February 20, 2011, was stabilized to the point that our members could contribute to a new podcast. Kounter Culture is what our elders and congregation sense to be that caveat.”

Horton says Kounter Culture will air 3-5 times every week and will provide biblical answers to cultural issues that are relevant in three cultures; the non-Christian culture at-large, the mainline evangelical culture and the urban ‘church’ culture. “Through the Didactics podcast, I received questions from saints all around the world regarding issues they wanted addressed from the lens of Scripture yet spoken in the heart language of the urban context. Kounter Culture will be what these saints have faithfully asked for. There will be sermons preached, but mostly we will address issues in real-time from the timeless Word of God.”
