Maryland native Elvin Carter also known as E. Carter currently resides in Raleigh, NC. Known for his unwavering claim as a Christian Hip-Hop artist, E. Carter’s unique rap vocals continues to spread and proves that the message of Christ through rap is a necessity for today’s youth. E. Carter brings everyday moments to the microphone with practical topics, the word of God, and hope of Jesus Christ.

August 7th 2012 marks the national release of E. Carter’s debut album “Kingdom Movements”. Drafting the cousin of Gospel Power House Deitrick Haddon, T-Haddy brings in his soulful lyrics for E. Carter’s first single “Got No More”. Building on a growing social status and radio rotation E. Carter prepares to plant his feet in the Christian Rap industry.

E. Carter’s passion for Christ came at an early age when the love of God was the only thing to lean on during his rough childhood. Accepting the call of Christ in Maryland, E. Carter began ministering in churches and local events during his teen years. As local popularity and family support grew, E. Carter became serious about his early calling and released several songs to satisfy the thirst of his supporters. Youth Leaders, Pastors, and associates agree that E. Carter is destined to lead a culture with his music. Not only does he receive accolades for his music but also his submission to the spirit of God during his stage presence.

To date E. Carter has ministered his songs at Duke Divinity School in Durham, NC, Nashville, TN, and has performed/shared the stage with artists: J.R, T-Ran, Boy Wonda and J. Robinson. E. Carter was a guest artist during the movie preview party of “Stand” and continues to grow his appearance list.

E. Carter strives to share the message of God through his music and/or speaking with someone personally. His passion to advise his audience about the powerful changes that can come from following Jesus is priority.

Favorite Scripture To Stand On:

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-39
