In what is believed to be a first for Christian hip hop, The Wade-O Radio Show has been named as one of four finalists for National Radio Show of the Year at the 28th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards. Online ballots for the second and final round of voting for the award are currently active (see link below) and will remain open until November 30, 2012. The Wade-O Radio Show team is encouraging their listeners and Christian hip hop fans all across the country to vote and make their voices heard.
“I know it sounds cliché, but we’re very honored to have been nominated in this category with such other great broadcasters,” Wade-O said. “Should it be God’s will for us to win this award, we think it will make a big statement about the viability and reach of this music whose message has the power to change lives. Regardess, I hope this moment helps open doors for the Christian Hip Hop Community.”
