50 Cent’s “G-unit” Whuteva goes Gospel

New York (NY) -­ August 2, 2013 – Once the hype man for one of hip hop’s most notorious emcees 50 Cent, Desmond Douglas p/k/a Whuteva finds himself on the opposite side of the gangster rap spectrum.

Seven, the God inspired, self reflective E.P. is the latest composition from the Queens, New York native. When asked the meaning of Seven, Whuteva replies, “It is symbolic of me coming full circle and evolving as a man. Seven represents the completion of this chapter in my life”.

The seven song project is opportunely debuting on the 7th day of August 2013 via iTunes, and has already been preceded by four music videos that have been released to numerous Christian television networks.

Contributions on the EP include production by Rockwilder, who states “Whuteva is a
special talent and exceptional lyricist who is bound for success in the music industry”. Also to collaborate on this project is gospel sensation and the host of “Sunday Best”, Kim Burrell. The track list for the EP is as follows:
