Holy Culture, LLC operates www.holyculture.net and forum.holyculture.net, providing media for the general consumer; tools and resources for artists and serves as an advocate for the CHH genre.  Holy Culture’s tag line represents it’s mission “connect, collab and inspire.” We exist to promote Christ, serve the Christian community and provide tools to those that co-labor in the culture.  We cover hip-hop, rock, CCM, alternative, rhythm & praise and gospel.

Corelink Radio, a sister company to Holy Culture, operates under Corelink Ministries, a 501c ministry. It’s tagline is it’s mission “Linking the world to the Word.”  Corelink exists to provide youth with a positive alternative that is counter to the current, pervasive culture through www.corelinkradio.com and mobile apps, providing 24×7 streaming of Christian Hip-Hop and R&P music.  Further, Corelink believes in revitalizing communities through Christian Hip-Hop music, with the long-term objective of driving programming penetration through AM/FM, Satellite radio and streaming (e.g. Pandora, etc.).  To accomplish this long-term objective, Corelink needs to create the proof that such a market exists through creating a strong listenership base and CBA that it can share in secular markets.

Overview of the Holy Culture / Corelink Radio Internship Program

Our program offers students and volunteers the opportunity to gain business, web and radio exposure.  It provides an opportunity to hone skills in team work, leadership and other key general management areas.

  • Students: We are flexible on both start and stop dates and can coordinate with your semesters.
  • Compensation: All of our internships are non-paid.  However, there may be cases where we provide additional opportunities to earn income.
  • Location: All work is done virtually

Requirements for all roles:

  • You are a Christian and follower of Jesus Christ, with a passion for reaching others through the tools we provide to the community as mentioned above.
  • You conduct yourself as a professional, considering that you are representing Holy Culture and / or Corelink Radio.
  • You agree to work and collaborate as a team member.
  • You agree to be punctual and follow instructions as provided for your particular role.

What you can expect:

Album Reviewers and Coordinators: These roles will be responsible for reviewing albums.  The coordinators will distribute review assignments, edited review submissions and post them to the site.  Key requirements:

  • Ability to listen to and rate music objectively
  • Excellent PC and web skills
  • College student, graduate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.

Charts Manager: This role will be responsible for managing our CHH charts at www.chhcharts.com, collaborating with DJs for input, managing the related contests and approving and socializing new submissions.  Key requirements:

  • Excellent PC and web skills – particularly comfortable with using social media channels.
  • College student, graduate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.

Content Manager:  Oversee, Plan, research, write copy and edit the content of a website.  Review, edit and post content submitted by users and / or other website writers.  Produce new content and writing it in an interesting and appealing manner.  Key requirements:

  • The ideal candidate for this role is a current or recent business management graduate, looking for an opportunity to gain general management experience.
  • Excellent PC and web skills
  • Ability to manage and supervise a virtual team of volunteers
  • Ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
  • Effective problem – solving and mediation skills.
  • Ability to share skills and knowledge with others.

Online Marketing: This role will manage our Google Adwords PPC Campaigns and Analytics, with a focus on optimizing our spend, performance and conversions.  Key requirements:

  • Solid experience managing Google Adwords campaigns and Google Analytics and / or related training
  • PPC and online marketing experience or related training
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously. 
  • Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. 

Program Manager: This role will be responsible for programming the audio for Corelink Radio as well as reviewing new potential shows.  Act as a curator, screening new music and implementing into rotation.

  • Ability to listen to and screen music objectively

  • College student, graduate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.

Social Media and Mobile Apps Manager: This role will be responsible for managing our social media presence and mobile apps; posting content on apps, sharing content in social channels and interacting with followers/users on behalf of entities.
