Fresh off the release of his billboard charting debut album “ONE”, Sauce Remix is starting an uproar in his community with the sound of “Gunshots”, a stop the violence movement! Based of the #6 song from his album, “Gunshots” is a mixture of God’s heart for social issues, Luke 15, a burden for the Black Homicide Victimization Rate and his involvement with community activism. Working alongside popular Kansas City groups and ministries like, the ” City Union Mission”, where he teaches a class on using rap as a positive influence in our communities, Aim4Peace, a stop the violence prevention program, The ADHOC Group Against Crime & more.

The song has gained city-wide and regional attention through the radio play received from KC’s #1 Hip Hop & R&B radio station “Hot 103 Jamz”.

Picked up by local DJ’s and placed in the right hands, the song has been playing consistently on the station since August! This only led to transforming the influence of this song into a hands on push to make the words come to life. That push includes, a full production music video, a upcoming compilation and short-film, an album like campaign with informational packet’s, community awareness event’s, merchandise and more. One of the main goals is to start a foundation (in process) for “Gunshots” that will help families bury their uninsured loved ones and raise up more urban missionaries to engage culture and social issues. The “National Christian Foundation” (NCF), the largest Christian grant-making foundation in the world, is interested in his idea and is meeting with him as we write this! Local pastor’s, churches and a multimedia/marketing company (Concrete Truth Media) have pledged time, resources and funding to also help this come to life.

A website, www.GunshotsKC.com and various video promotional’s have been established to expose his fan base to a cause worth more than CD sells and good music. Always expressing and showing his concern for his city, Sauce has managed to create a great audience of support for this cause. The new informational interview will help those who are unacquainted to the things he does outside of music, get a taste and basic understanding to where him and his team are taking “Gunshots”.

Please pray, support, look for the upcoming video (December 21st), compilation and short film (2014). Learn more about the “Gunshots” Movement by watching the interview here.
